HOW CAN YOU MAKE VOTER SUPPRESSION BACKFIRE? By voting in record numbers! Maybe you didn’t hear this story. In 1946 in Georgia, Otis Moss Sr., Pastor Moss' gra...ndfather walked 18 miles in one day, to three polling places, in his Sunday best (suit). He still did not get to vote. He died before the next election. #YourVoteMatters #DoItForYourAncestors #DoItforYourChildren Click here to see story: https://bit.ly/2GsLVdL See more

THERE IS POWER IN DOING THE RIGHT THING 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 There is a reason why we have faith in doing the right thing. We fight to win. We’ve learned to not be impatient; GOD rewards faithful people. That’s why it’s important to not be ruled by feelings; but be ruled by honoring GOD. It’s important to travel steady in life, and be consistently faithful. Paul shared in 1 Corinthians to always be consistent of our work in the LORD. We play to win in this game of life. W...e receive blessings because of our faithfulness. Therefore we should always remain faithful no matter what things look like. The time has come and is coming for GOD to bless us. We can’t be inpatient. But we can strive to keep doing right, in spite of any setbacks or challenges. We must be encouraged to know and remember that if there is delay, there can be some good reasons for delay. Some examples may be: GOD is strengthening us. GOD is preparing us. GOD has us sometimes in a waiting period (a season of testing). The important thing is to keep traveling steady. Think of David after he was anointed King. He went back to his everyday job, and kept pressing. It took 13 years for David to become King. It’s important to note, that GOD will make ways for us to be successful. The question then becomes, What are you doing in the waiting or Proving Season? You have to be faithful in the wilderness in order to make it to the Promised Land. GOD chooses for us to shift our focus on Him. We have to believe, thank GOD and walk in obedience. GOD’s job is to do the miraculous. Our job is to keep GOD first place. Things fall in place when we travel steady. I heard a preacher say, Think of Joseph and Mary. Joseph was approached by an Angel who told Joseph what to do. Joseph was obedient even while Mary was pregnant. Mary was also obedient. It is believed that they preceded in faith, even while GOD was silent for a portion of their journey. They both traveled steady, doing what GOD commanded them to do. It’s very important to keep being consistent even when it seems GOD is silent. GOD rewards faithful people. Keep praising GOD, even in difficult moments. Remember GOD performs miracles. If it doesn’t happen immediately, doesn’t mean that GOD is not going to do anything. Don’t worry why things are not happening the way we want it to happen. Just keep traveling steady. GOD is going to do extraordinary things in our lives. Remember Jesus was born in a manger. Don’t be bitter. The shepherds will find us. We need to prove to GOD that we can be faithful even when it seems like everything is not working in our favor. GOD will always have the final say, and I believe it, because GOD’s Word proves it. Remember life is all about a journey or game dealing with FAITH!!!

GOD IS OUR SOURCE Psalm 46 Keep moving. Just because you don’t see anything doesn’t mean GOD is not working. Remember who GOD is...... Luke 17 reminds us that things may not happen instantly, but faith says believe before you see it. Jesus told the lepers to go show themselves to the Priests. The scriptures say that as they went they were healed. Don’t let our circumstances determine our faith. Faith is to move when we don’t see GOD moving, but we know He’s working. Faith is being obedient even when it doesn’t make sense. It’s doing the right thing even when. Remember the widow and Elijah. Elijah told the widow to collect empty jars. Pay attention to what GOD is saying. Faith makes room for provision. We talk, plan, and operate like that blessing is on the way. GOD WANTS US TO BE WILLING TO DO WHAT DOESN’T MAKE SENSE. Remember Joshua and the Israelites crossing the Jordan River in the flood season. GOD does things in different ways. The Jordan didn’t part like it did with Moses. Joshua put the Priests in front and they kept walking. Joshua had a made up mind. Joshua ordered everyone to keep on walking. The waters parted as the Priests stepped in. Keep walking. GOD is not moved by what’s not happening. GOD wants everyone to know He did it. We may have to get our feet wet. The question is, will we believe when it looks like things aren’t happening? Look at and study Psalm 114. The story of the Israelites crossing the Red Sea. Know your destiny. The miracle is a process. Stay in GOD’s grace. GOD is going to work supernaturally for His glory in our lives.
