Yesterday was such an amazing day.. I was very proud to witness my cousin Kyle marry the love of his life Lawana Rozier. We are so excited and happy for the both of them. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Richardson.

GLLAM, wanted to share an amazing testimony from Melvin Jones. His story will brighten all our hearts! Happy Wednesday, make it a great day ladies!! A LITTLE ...COULD MEAN A LOT! As I was getting out of my car today and entering a department store I noticed a man sitting on the sidewalk appearing to be in need. As I approached the entrance to the store, I knew I was next on his quest for assistance. On cue, the gentleman asked me if I could spare a few dollars for some food. I reached into my back pocket and pulled out my wallet to reveal to him I did not have any cash on me and I could not help him. I proceeded to enter the department store. After finding the item I was looking for I made my purchase with my debit card and exited the store. As I passed the gentleman again, he once again asked if I could spare a few dollars for some food. My answer did not change and I walked to my car. As I drove off, I reminded myself that I can't help everyone that reaches out for help. In the past, anyone who approached me for a few dollars or food, I would gladly give it to them. But time has taught me to be mindful of giving money to people because you could be contributing to their demise if it was being used for drugs, cigarettes or alcohol. So I stopped giving money but I can not turn my back on anyone who reaches out for food. As I drove down the highway, I was reminded of my mother and what she taught me as a child. Never turn your back on the hungry. The only difference between you and that person is grace and mercy. A smile came on my face thinking of her opening up her doors to feed anyone who needed a little help in life. Cooking was her gift and she had no problem sharing it with anyone in need of a good meal. I quickly circled around the block and stopped by one of the local fast food restaurants and purchased a meal for the gentleman. Not knowing if he would still be there, I quickly drove back and as I was pulling into the parking lot, he was walking away. As I pulled up beside him he turned around and began to smile. As I reached out the window to give him the meal and drink he said "Thank you so much sir, your kindness really means a lot". I looked him in the eye and said, no, thank you sir for reminding me that we all need a little help in life sometimes and that it cost nothing to be kind especially when you have been blessed. Sometimes we have to be reminded that our blessings are not ours alone. We must be willing to help others along our journey in life. A little could mean a lot to someone in need. I'm so thankful that I met that gentleman today because he is actually me except for grace and mercy. See more
