Dear Sisters and Brothers, Praising The Lord for each of you. Our prayer is that you are sheltering in place and following the prescribed safety guidelines. Please be encouraged during these uncertain times. These are different and difficult times for us, fearful times for others, but they are no surprise to The Lord! Please remember to keep your eyes on The LORD, walk in the light and be a light to your family, friends and neighbors.... The SOM Executive Committee met and the following decisions were made: 1) The SOM 2020 Mission Trip to Shelby, NC during June 9 June 13, 2020 is cancelled. 2) All registrations and/or payments will be refunded minus pro rata share of incurred expenses. 3)We will work together to provide safe and creative ideas to Continue On Mission in 2020. Please stay tuned In midst of the COVID-19 crisis, please prayerfully consider using a portion of your refund to make a SOM donation, church mission donation, and/or funding personal missions (family, co-workers, or neighbors. If you choose to donate to SOM, please respond to this email with the donation amount and it will be deducted from your refund. You will receive a tax-deductible receipt.
