Happy New Year's Eve! If your pup is frightened by fireworks, he'll be glad to know that fireworks are not allowed inside Georgia's State Parks. Stay with us for a boom-free getaway.

Just a quick reminder, our December programs are posted! We have hikes, movies and archery scheduled. If you're interested in attending, please pre-register by calling the park office. Skidaway Island State Park currently has two Park Office Clerk positions open. If you have a love for the natural beauty of South Georgia, Skidaway Island State Park is the place for you. Job duties include: greeting customers as they enter the office, processing retail transactions, checking in campers that have arrived for their reservation, and helping keep the park beautiful. This position is part time (29 hours per week) and the pay is $11 an hour. We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude, customer service experience, and a flexible schedule. Training will be provided.
