As per Van Johnson’s mandatory mask order for the city of Savannah, Sonshine Learning Center is requiring parents to have a mask on when entering the lobby area at drop off and pick up times. It’s official! Sonshine Learning Center is now a two star quality rated facility! We’re so happy to bring high standards and quality to our community of Georgetown. A huge thank you to our staff and parents for the outpouring support. We couldn’t have done it without you. And a special shout out to our very own Mrs. Meg who put in countless hours piecing together a portfolio of over 700 pages! Thank you and God bless you all.

Reminder! Starting today we are closing at 5:00pm! Payments must be made by check, cash or money orders only!

We will be open on Monday, April 27th. Our new hours of operation are from 6:30am-5:00pm. ALL CHILDREN must be dropped off by 9:00am, there is NO EXCEPTIONS. ... We are implementing new procedures for drop off and pick up. Please allow extra time the first few days for drop off just in case we run into some bumps as this is everyone’s first time dealing with something of this magnitude. Temperatures will be checked and children over 99.0 degrees, showing signs of cough or any other illness may not enter the school. Until further notice parents can not enter the school. We will have a member of the office picking up kids from their rooms and bringing them to the front when it’s time for pick up. Payments may only be made in the form of cash, check or money order until further notice. We cannot have any items from home, such as blankets, soft toys or cups, all will be provided and sanitized daily. Since we are closing an hour earlier, that hour will be dedicated to cleaning and sanitizing. Masks will also be provided for all students ages 3 and over. There will be an email going to families with info. If you have any other questions please send us a message. On Friday we will have members of our team in the building, you may call for questions then if needed. We all know this is a huge change and we expect things to not go perfectly but if we are flexible and keep an open mind we can make sure that our families are kept safe. We want to give a HUGE shoutout to our amazing parents and teachers! Adjusting to all of these new changes was not easy but everyone did so awesome this morning! We're so proud of our Sonshine Squad. Thank you all so much for your cooperation and flexibility. We all will get through this together and come out of it stronger than before. ... God bless you all! <3

Our doors will be opening once again tomorrow! Our classrooms will once again be filled with joyful giggles of our beloved students, teachers coming back to so spread their love to all and we’re so excited! If your child will be at school tomorrow please email us at [email protected] or message us via Facebook! Keep in mind we will be doing temperature checks, and have a different drop-off process outside so leave time for that. All students MUST BE DROPPED... OFF BY 9 OR THEY MAY NOT ATTEND FOR THE DAY.
