#ASaferATL is a city where people can walk away from police interactions alive and not experience the same tragedy as DeAundre Phillips, who lost his life on January 26, 2017. It’s been four years since and Atlanta police officers are still at it with their misconduct and brutality (i.e. Rayshard Brooks). Rather than focus on police, what else do you believe helps to create a safer Atlanta? Tell us today by taking the survey over at bit.ly/saferatl

Mayor Keisha wants more funding for cops, but the cops are the ones killing US! On January 26, 2017 DeAundre Phillips was murdered by an Atlanta Police Department officer and still hasn’t received justice to this day. We don’t need more dollars pumped into cops, we need it channeled into our communities! Let SNaP Co. know how you envision #ASaferATL by taking our survey today at bit.ly/saferatl

From Trans Housing Coalition The time has come to the life of our sisterBianca Muffin Bankz whose life was violently taken too soon. @transhousingcoalition is hosting a Vigil to honor the life of our sisterBianca Muffin Bankz whose life was violently taken too soon.... The vigil will take place on Friday, January 29th at 6pm. It will be held at outside her apartment on 1177 Joseph E Boone. Bring candles, stuffed animals, flowers, offerings (Muffins!), and red angel wings if you can find any! There will be prayers, performances from community members, and whatever else folks are called to. Dress for a celebration of life! Please wear a mask. The Trans Housing Coalition has decided to move forward with covering all of Muffin’s funeral expenses. You can also donate to AfricaMuffin’s chosen family and roommateand support her during this difficult time (cashapp: $Africa1921).
