Merry Christmas to all!
Our Annual tree sale is going on now! Special this year, we are also selling live stakes, a great tool if you live next to a stream bank that has taken a beating in this year's floods. For the order sheet and more info about live stakes, please check our website www.soque.org

One more great day along the river! Thanks to the Boy Scouts for planting so many trees!
Please join us this weekend! More details at www.soque.org
It passed! Thanks to everyone who voted YES and congratulations to Georgia Water Coalition and the many, many people who worked for years to support Truth in Trust Funds!
As voting begins, please vote YES to send fees where they were designed to go. Don’t leave local communities on the hook for cleanups while these fees are used elsewhere. For more info, see https://www.wabe.org/georgia-voting-what-the-dedication-of/
Yesterday was rough for the #clarkesvillegreenway but today the recovery begins. This will be an easy task compared to what many of you were dealt. Thinking of all of you along the #soqueriver #chattahoocheeriver and beyond as you face the day after, especially our farmer friends and neighbors.
The Habersham County Sheriff’s office urges anyone whom lives south of Log Cabin Road on the Chattahoochee river to be aware of a possible flash flood from a fa...iling private property dam. The Sheriffs office also asks that you consider evacuating the area for at least 24 hours until the water has time to recede. Log Cabin road is in the Fairview community. See more
While the flood waters may be receding in some places, they are still increasing in others. Please be careful and stay safe! You can check the City of Clarkesville-USGS gauge to view current water levels. https://waterdata.usgs.gov/usa/nwis/uv?023312495
I know many of you are out assessing flood damage right now, but please keep in mind that when the water is up, so are bacteria levels. Please use caution and wash well if you get water on you! Best to wait if you can. @clarkesville greenway.
On Saturday, September 26, the Soque River Watershead Association held a Rivers Alive Clean Up in Cornelia, at the Camp Creek Reservoir. A total of eight volunt...eers, picked up an estimated 165 pounds of trash and volunteered for 20 hours! Thank you! #corneliageorgia #soque #corneliamainst #nature #cleanwater #outdoors See more
Good morning! Hope to see some of you soon!
The skies are clearing for this Saturday! Please join SRWA and Cornelia Main Street this weekend to give a little love back to our community!

Time change! Meet us tomorrow at 10am at Pitts Park in Clarkesville for the Soque portion of Sweep the Hooch! We've got water bottles as a thank you for all attendees. Not signed up? Come anyway! We'd love to see you tomorrow! Chattahoochee Riverkeeper
We've been loving this year's Adopt-a-Stream Conference! There are still a few great sessions left, and if you missed any good ones they have been recorded and posted on youtube so you can enjoy anytime!
