Hello All! I’m the founder and alchemist of So Refreshed. I felt it was needed to share how this brand was birthed for the new followers. I’m going to jump right into this. I lost my dad at 4 and lost my mom at 13. My mom was a phenomenal woman. She taught me SO much that I am truly grateful for. After she ascended, I moved frequently. Always looking for that stability and structure that she provided. I realized there was no one like ya mama at a young age. I also found that... there’s no such thing as a perfect family. Every one has some dysfunction going on that they are masking. Fast forwarding, I went to college, got the degrees and accolades in Corporate America. Unfortunately, being raised by an entrepreneur (my mother) this wasn’t making me happy. I’m all about happiness. Also, being a mother of 5 makes it even harder to be present and productive when I needed to be home. At the time when I left corporate, I was married with three children and birthed So Refreshed with $32.73. I gathered a few ingredients and did what my great grandmother had taught me. That was mixing raw ingredients together to make bomb skincare recipes. I started out at home without any startup capital. Sales dragged in and was not predictive AT ALL. I wanted to quit but never gave up. Later, I added Yoni care products which was inspired by meeting and reading @queenafua books. My sales increased drastically and I was able to hire young girls to help with the demand. I only hire young girls aged 15-24 to encourage and help them develop entrepreneurial skills. This year I have opened a manufacturing factory and corporate office. I plan to purchase land to grow my own herbs, plants, etc and open retail space locally and in Los Angeles, CA when the time is right.
