Update 10/15: He's been found! Thanks to someone who saw this post, he was found almost an hour away. He was tied to a tree with an extension cord in someone's ...yard. Police arrived and are filing charges against the thieves but I can't say much more right now. Thank you to everyone who shared. He's on the way back home now and appears to be in decent condition considering the circumstances. 2k Reward! Valdosta friends, last night someone came onto our property and stole our smallest miniature horse, Phil. I've attached a photo of him taken yesterday. If you have seen or have any information on him, please let me know. He was born on the property a year ago and he was like another child to my mom. She spent every day with them. We're in the process of trying to go through surveillance now. It appears someone hopped the fence onto the property and opened the gate we never use (and left it open.) They then walked him down the fence line and put him over the fence in a low spot. There are footprints and his hoof prints side by side. A $2000 reward is being offered for credible information leading to his safe return. No questions asked. Edited to add some additional info since I was asked: Phil is a gelding. He is very friendly and is trained to lay down in your lap if you have treats. He's about 27-28 inches tall to the shoulder. He isn't papered and he is not trained to do anything like pull a cart. To whoever stole him, he isn't worth much on the market but he is more valuable to my family than you could possibly know.
