When I was asked to pick paint colors for this job of these rental homes there were four and we needed colors that didn’t need priming in order to cover what was currently there, but colors that would also provide some consistency on the street without being matchy matchy. I’ve been obsessing over doing a house in a deep blue, so I decided this was the perfect time. This transformation y’all!! When I look back on the condition this place was in its insane we even attempted this. Remodeling is a true labor of love, but it’s so rewarding. It’s not like new construction where everything is new and in good condition. You have to break it down to its bare bones and make sure you’re clearing up all the potential issues and man did this one have some issues. We did it though! We are almost there! My husband and I do this together. I make most... of the decisions, and he makes them happen. This would have been impossible without owning our own construction company and without all of our subcontractors that have worked tirelessly to bring this back to life! We have a fantastic team and some of the hardest working crews you’ll find! We are almost there as we finish up stone work and landscaping. Here’s our latest farmhouse update! This weeks update includes irrigation, grass, a completed chipping green, lots of shiplap, and a painted garage interior. Next week we will be installing garage doors, finishing up the interior paint, finishing the landscape, and prepping for floors! We are in the home stretch! I’ve been blowing up Instagram today with farmhouse photos, so I thought I’d share here as well! The house got gutters today. Rock around the porch, landscaping, and a driveway and the exterior will be complete! You’d never know this place was rotted and falling down a few months ago. Windows, siding, roof, gutters, you name it, it’s all been replaced and done the right way! Southern Elite Contracting and Southern Charm Designs would love to help you with a renovation project!
