I need to vent for a moment: Everybody knows I do Mortgage loans with Homestar Financial and have done them for 24 years now. I guess you'd call me a Veteran i...n the industry. This new generation of homeowners trusts the internet out of state mortgage brokers entirely too much with over promising ridiculous rates only to find out it was a lie and it is discovered too far in the process. Usually also the turn times can't match us closing in 3-4 weeks, which results in lock extension fees. I can't stress enough to stay local for any kind of mortgage financing with the stories that I hear. It's so frustrating dealing with this generation and 100% just trusting the internet only to usually hear the dreadful stories afterwards. I"m finished preaching now........
