I’m absolutely ecstatic Congratulations to President -elect Biden and soon to be Vice-President Harris on their historic win to lead this country! AND a huge congratulations to all of us citizens, who voted to make it happen! My fellow Georgians- let’s get ready to fight again!!! Make sure you’re registered to vote, and go out there and register as many people as possible! Atlanta will lead the way once again, and do it for our country with our run-off elections!

I have lots of updates of what’s been going on in the last several months of my world of real estate and home rehabbing. First, I have partnered with the Latoya Forbes Group! With this partnership, I’ve been able to help more families become homeowners! If you, or anyone you know, wants to purchase a home (even if it’s not in Georgia), call me! I want to help them! Secondly, lots of things are happening with my home rehab over @beerbudgetreno. This renovation was demoed down to the studs, so it’s like we’re building a new house. Once we start to do some of the fun stuff, like installing finishes, I’ll be posting more. Right now, lots of systems work, like plumbing and HVAC, is happening and it’s not that exciting . I saw this post, and thought it was fitting to add some context to ALL that is going on. People are fed up, and people are taking action. For those who are criticizing the tactics of some people’s actions, such as looting- I’m sorry that you are uncomfortable. Disruption is often uncomfortable. But I also hope that you are just as uncomfortable, that large conglomerates just looted billions of OUR dollars with pandemic #corporatewelfare. And the average working perso...n (may have) received $1200. I’m against all injustice. I stand with all of the protestors who are in the streets taking a stand against racial injustice, economic injustice, and criminal injustice. Thank you to the protestors, who are taking action, to try to make things more comfortable for all of us. I’m committed to donating toward bail funds. I hope you do too. Bricckkkkk.....housssssse. Ladies and gents, there’s a big debate going on amongst brick purists and brick modifiers. Do you leave brown, red, and black brick as is? Or, do you change its color by painting, lime washing, or smearing it? Well, my new construction client (pictured above) selected a brick that is slightly lime washed to give her brick some dimension. AND over at my own home renovation, I’ve decided to limewash my brick too.... Why? It gives brick a modern look without harming the brick. Regular latex paint can damage brick because it doesn’t allow the brick to breathe. Brick is porous and needs to be able to absorb and expel moisture.
