It is with great sadness that we share with you the passing of Tracy Cossette, our manager and lifelong friend. Tracy passed away yesterday evening, December 15...th, after battling COVID-19. Tracy has been a valued member of our team since January of 1995, but she far exceeded an employee, as she was more like family. Her bright spirit will always be remembered here at Southern Lighting. She was so loved and will be dearly missed. We ask that everyone keep her family and friends in your prayers during this extremely difficult time. In honor of Tracy’s memory, we will be closed starting today, December 16th at 1:00 pm, and will remain closed until Monday, December 21st. ****UPDATE**** There is a memorial fund for Tracy set up at McCullough Funeral Home for those looking to donate towards Tracy’s medical and funeral costs. We appreciate everyone’s kind words and prayers.

For those asking about donating, we have set up an account for Tracy and her family at Morris Bank. We also have a donation jar here in the store, that will be available during our updated holiday hours. Donations will go towards Tracy’s medical and funeral costs. In observance of Christmas, we will be closing at 2 on Wednesday and reopen Monday, December 28th. We will be closed Thursday , December 31st and will remain closed until Monday, January 4th. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from your Southern Lighting family!
