Edit: Added two more changes to the schedule. March Updates/Schedule: We are now up and running with our Red Light Therapy. I started using it and have already begun to see results. If you are interested in trying it out call to reserve your spot. ... We’ve also added two Pilates Reformer Lvl 1 Classes one on Tuesday night at 6pm and on Wednesday mornings at 8:30am. We also added a cardio method on Saturday at 11am.

More lower body strap work. I love using the strap over the knee and doing these exercises as a warm up. I use one blue spring for these. Clam shell x 10 Knee Circles x 10 each way... I try to focus on using the glues as much as possible as well as the core to stabilize the pelvis. Be sure your hips abs shoulders are stacked, too many try to roll back some which takes the core stability out of this.
Playing around with some different foot to strap work. The single leg variations are some of my favorites for working pelvic stability and low body coordination. My favorite cue for these exercises is to make the legs mirror images of each other. Move them at the same level and speed.
Part three of Side Lying Foot to Strap Sequence. Sequence: Parallel Hamstring Pull x12 Rainbow x 12... Leg Circle (Both Direction) x12 Spring: - one blue Cuing: - stack the shoulders and hips - use the core to stabilize the hips - lift the bottom ribs away from the carriage
Last day of spooky abs and Bob Ross came in to demo this challenging multi planar exercise. (Although I think his hair made him top heavy ) Happy Halloween Everyone. And remember just like in painting with Pilates, There are no MISTAKES, only happy accidents.

Not quite so spooky but effective. Sometimes the simple core exercises are the best. Did this with my lvl one class on Monday. My favorite part of this routine is how versatile it is to teach. I’m demonstrating the more advanced version that I have my students who are getting ready to move up a level do. But all three of these can be done with knees down for those still working up the strength. Ps- I’ve been thinking of doing some online class and sequencing work of my teaching method. Day 3 of spooky core work! Be afraid, be very afraid. Love this variation for working on core endurance and some spinal rotation. As you rotate reach forward through the finger tips of the arm staying still.
