7th Grade Loves their "Calaveras" Students have learned the meaning of El Día de los Muertos and its significance within the Hispanic world. They have also built an understanding between El Día de los Muertos and All Saints Day.

St. Joseph Catholic Parish School thinks building relationships is so important for our students! We love the Prayer Partner program where older students are paired with younger students! The classes participate in activities together throughout the year! When we can attend Mass in person, prayer partners will sit together and the Middle Schoolers serve as our elementary students’ guide! We even have our home learners paired up this year! Not only do the young ones have someone to look up to, the older students learn important leadership skills and get a wonderful chance to showcase their model behavior!

We are so excited about our new document cameras for the classroom. The cameras allow us to project physical objects to the Clear Touch board so they can be seen clearly anywhere in the classroom and at home through the Zoom session. #sjsathens #sjstechnology
