I think the main point of this article is "How valuable can universal diet guidelines be for individuals?" I get asked so many questions about what I eat, what I drink, what supplements I have - and my answer is always "It depends." I have a general set of principles I usually adhere to, but this depends on how I'm feeling, what I'm noticing in my body, where I am, what season it is etc. Be observational about what shows up in your body in response to what you consume - we really are made out of what we eat!

My apologies for the infrequent postings - it has been a very hectic schedule (but I have taught in some stunning locations over recent weeks!) This research has come up in quite a few discussions I've been in lately, and while I do think there needs to be more detailed studies, I definitely believe that technology seems to be moving faster than our bodies and spirits are able to easily adapt to.
After spending an incredible week doing a Breath & Bliss immersion in the redwoods of California, the importance of meditating and making choices to down regulate has never seemed more important. Luckily, this starts tomorrow!

*ALWAYS BE KIND* So apparently Jan 12th is known by some as "Quitters Day" - the one where we're most likely to give up on new years resolutions. While the new year can seem like a good time for a fresh start or a healthier habits, the perfect time is whenever you are actually ready - you haven't missed your window: start now, start tomorrow - and be kind to yourself if everything doesn't go the way you'd planned. As long as you breathe, you can begin again!
