Sending our hearts and prayers!! Evan Hinson, Wednesday, December 13, 2 pm - the OR team just took Evan out of ICU to the OR to remove the ECMO machine. Probably be 5 hours until they get him back settled in the ICU room. At that point, they'll let him rest and then possibly extubate(Thank you Scott Kelly Lunato for that medical term) him from the respiratory tube. Then it will be your turn Evan. Time to breathe on your own. Time for your heart to beat on its own. Time f...or all if your other organs to perform on their own. It'll be time for you to use your will and strength to heal. This I have no doubt you will do, considering the incredible will and strength you have shown so far. You got this Bud.........
