St. John's Masonic Lodge #45 13.12.2020

St. John's Masonic Lodge #45 will hold a regular meeting on June 16th 2020. This is our first meeting since the Grand Lodge cancelled all face to face meetings and activities, so we will be changing our procedures and we will be proactive to ensure the safety of our members and the others who use our facilities. We will continue to have the lodge building and property closed for any use not approved by a vote of the members or myself personally. This includes all activities o...f the Rainbow Girls and the Boy-scouts as to their use of the lodge facility and property. Below I have outlined the basic changes which I am implementing at this time, other items will be discussed at our meeting: 1. We will only allow members of St. John's #45 and Ancient York #127 to this meeting, I considered having this meeting closed to all visitors but we have a quite a few Dual members and I feel we need to work together to keep ourselves safe while we proceed in reopening our Lodges. 2. There should be no physical contact at all, this covers the parking lot, fellowship hall and meeting room. 3. Social distancing. Always stay 6 feet apart, this covers the parking lot, fellowship hall and meeting room. 4. Hand sanitizer will be available, and all encouraged to use it. 5. Anyone who is not feeling well must stay home. 6. Masks should be worn at all times. 7. There shall be no cooking, food preparation or eating on the property. 8. Flat surfaces, entry and exit door knobs, push plates or handles should be disinfected (wipes) before and after each use of the building. 9. Family Nights are cancelled. 10. We will discuss a new schedule for the use of the lodge by the Rainbow Girls and Boy-scouts. 11. Any use of the Lodge must be accompanied by a report sent to the secretary or myself including a sign in sheet of those in attendance, the areas of the lodge used, a confirmation that the lodge has been disinfected at the end of the use and any knowledge of a sick person or person recently exposed to Covid-19 that was refused entry. Brethren this letter is not requesting that anyone comes to lodge, If you feel uncomfortable returning to lodge at this time please stay home and please say a prayer for our brethren and our fraternity as we proceed. The Grand Lodge has changed the way that we will do things inside of our meetings and these changes will be implemented in addition to the items above and will be discussed at our meeting. Reach out to me or any other brother if you are in need of anything.
