September 2 Scripture: Philippians 4:5-7 & Proverbs 3:1-10 Topic: Financial Freedom: Be a Blessing Without Stressing/Hold onto Gods Word Supporting Scripture: Matthew 6:38, James 1:22 Philippians 4:5 - Let people know you are a child of God Philippians 4:6 - Don’t be anxious when you have a relationship you can tell him what you want no need to stress or worry about it. Just communicate with him and give thanks in advance! Philippians 4:7 - God will grant you peace for your faithfulness in him and his plan for your life. -He will help you keep your emotions and your mind in a stable state, so your spirit stays one with Jesus *When we tie Philippians 4:5-7 together and follow the instructions money will no longer be an issue. * Proverbs 3:1-10 -Gods instructions through the commandments will make life easier and more enjoyable. -We become more pleasant to be around when we learn to enjoy life this comes through doing the word of God not just listening. -Your reputation matters. -When you put your trust in God you must lean unto HIS understanding not your OWN. Trusting is a process which builds your character, so you will be able to lean on him and not self. -When we admit that it is him that carries us every step of the he will continue to carry us. -Honor the Lord with your tithes and you will enjoy the overflow he promises. *When we tie Proverbs 3:1-9 together and follow instructions we are surely following Gods plan and he will continue to keep us. * Take Aways: -Wherever you go, you take you with you. You cannot get away from you whether it is good or bad. - Principle-established law that has already been proven -We must do the word of God not just hear it. The blessing is in the action of doing not simply hearing. -Why should God bless you if you cannot be a blessing to someone else? -When God bless you financially do not raise your standard of LIVING raise your standard of GIVING!!!
