In the first chapter of the Gospel of Mark, we hear of Jesus helping those in need of healing: "When it was evening, after sunset, they brought to him all who w...ere ill or possessed by demons. The whole town was gathered at the door. He cured many who were sick with various diseases, and he drove out many demons, not permitting them to speak because they knew him." -Mark 1:32-34 https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/020721.cfm Jesus wants to HELP us. Call upon Jesus to lift you up. He is longing to help you. Moreover, we are His hands and feet, and we are called to help others on his behalf. As you listen to this, consider reaching out to mothers in need. Lift up those enduring troubling times as you call upon Jesus for support in your own life. https://bit.ly/35SF8DC

Yesterday Bishop Parkes spent the day in Augusta and visited Saint Mary on the Hill School, Immaculate Conception School, and the priests of the deanery. He was very happy to be greeted by the students and enjoyed the conversation with the Augusta Deanery priests.

Happy Day 8 of the St Jude Novena! St Jude’s surname is Thaddeus and it means generous, courageous, and kind. This quote comes from a vision St Bridget recei...ved from Jesus telling her St Jude Thaddeus would be most willing to give her help. The flame is is a symbol often seen above the head of St Jude as he was one of the people present at Pentecost. Aren’t you glad you have a heavenly friend who Jesus described as most willing to help?! So glad many of you are following Jesus’ advice to ask St Jude for his intercession. St Jude, pray for us!
