This is a current picture--the other was from a couple years ago.
A friend of mine wrote about why she likes The Great Litany, which we used in our service yesterday. You may find this interesting, and may even want to go back and read/pray it again.
Please join us today for worship @ 10:00AM https://youtu.be/dSddNEWNs7M

I invite you to worship with us on this Ash Wednesday at whatever time is convenient for you. You do not need ashes to make this a meaningful service; however, if you want ashes, they will be available for pick up on a table outside the sacristy door today from 9:00am-1:00pm.
Please consider donating to St. Stephen's electronically. Thank you for your support! https://tithe.ly/give?c=402863

Today is the second part of our series featuring music for the season of Advent. Today we feature "And the Glory of the Lord," from Messiah by George Frideric Handel (1685-1759). Messiah is an oratorio in three parts chronicling the church year from Advent to Easter. "And the Glory of the Lord" is from Part One, the Advent/Christmas section of the work, which is the most performed section. Enjoy this energetic piece, emblematic of Handel's mature style. https://www.youtube.com/watch

Saw these folks hanging around church. It looks like they are waiting on something, or someone....
Today we begin a new part of the series on the choral music of the Episcopal Church. For the next two weeks, we will feature music for the season of Advent. Today we feature a work by the famous British pedagogue, Charles Wood (1866-1926) who taught both Ralph Vaughn Williams and Herbert Howells. His "O thou the central orb" featured today is his most famous composition. Enjoy this grand anthem beautifully sung by the choir of St. Paul's Cathedral, London. https://www.youtube.com/watch
