Do not contact practice directly. Savannah Plastic Surgery is looking for a Surgery Center Clinical Director. In this position the ideal candidate assumes the management responsibility for all functions of the Surgery Center and Clinic and supervises all Surgery Center and Clinical personnel including the quality of patient care. In addition, the Director will work closely with the Practice Administrator for issues related to budget/reimbursement, etc. This position does inc...lude a part time administrative assistant. Responsibilities: Coordinates the daily operations of the Surgery Center and Clinic. Assigns Surgery Center and Clinical staff schedules adjusting levels, as necessary. Coordinates with posting/coordinators department to facilitate efficient scheduling based on patient needs, equipment availability, etc. EMR- Continuous education / training for Surgery Center, Clinical staff, and physicians. Maintains a high level of nursing care and safe, friendly environment for all patients. Establishes performance standards, analyzing need, recommending, and implementing changes. Interviews, hires, counsels, disciplines, and terminates employees in conjunction with the Medical Director and Human Resources. Collaborates with the Medical Director and Practice Administrator on recommendations for the Surgery Center and Clinic budget, with implementation of the same. Directs purchasing of all supplies and equipment in both Surgery Center and Clinic. Develops and maintains Surgery Center and Clinical Policies and Procedures consistent with current standards, rules and regulations. Maintains credentialing files on all physicians and personnel working in the Surgery Center and Clinic, to include new applicants and re-credentialing. Safety Officer for Savannah Plastic Surgery/provides in service relative to drills/know personal role in case of fire or evaluation of patients-directs activities of the Surgery Center during emergency situations. Qualifications: Current Georgia RN License Certified Nurse of the Operating Room (preferred) Current BCLS and/or ACSL certification 3+ years in Operating Room or Surgery Center Experience 1+ year of supervisory management experience in a healthcare setting EOE
