Festivities are all around as we celebrate with a holiday luncheon and a farewell to Dr. Hemachandra Gunawardhana. Dr. Hana severed for 10 years as one of our psychiatrists with a specialty in senior adults. Additionally, for the past six years he was our Director of Electroconvulsive Therapy. Our employees donated close to 100lbs of food to the The Lawrenceville Cooperative Ministry, Inc. as a part of our holiday giving. We also donated to Toys for Tots which benefits children in our community. We are thankful for such a charitable team!

Due to the storm last night, a few of our phone lines are down. We are still able to accept calls, but it may take longer to get through to a representative. Additionally, we are unable to dial out at this time. We will continue to make updates as we have them.

If your child is on prescribed medication, monitor the dosages and refills. Set clear rules, such as not sharing and always following proper dosages. Warn your children that taking prescription or OTC drugs without a doctor’s supervision can be just as dangerous and potentially lethal as taking street drugs. Supervise your child’s internet use; many pharmacy sites are not regulated and will sell your child medications without prescriptions. Learn more at http://www.lockyourmeds.org/.

It's #PharmacyWeek and we want to give a shoutout to our pharmacists. Medication is an important part of treatment as it safely improves unwanted symptoms caused by mental health disorders. Fortunately, the majority of individuals respond well to medication treatment. Join us in thanking our pharmacists for their continued dedication to our patients.
