This is Leon Hines, my wife's father and my father in law for 37 years. As you can see by the photos and the newspaper article, Leon was a fisherman. I would say that he was a fisherman's fisherman. I mean, how many fishermen catch a fish big enough to make it in the newspaper? Leon left this world on Friday, January, 29, 2021. He was with his loved ones and he will be missed. Leon ("Dad" to me) approached fishing like he approached life. If you were going to do it, do it right. He learned it, practiced it and mastered it. He worked, lived and loved the same way. He made it all look very simple on the surface but you knew there was a calm confidence that came from experience and effort. I think Leon would say to all of us: Work hard, live in the moment and enjoy the rewards...like a 42 pound, 45 inch striped bass.

What fun it was to watch the crew working on the landscaping for our entrance. I love the rocks they found on our property.

I love the sights and sounds of heavy equipment getting things done! We are hoping to be ready for business at the end of August!

It was so great to see so much progress on the project today. These men and women are working hard to get the job done. We are hoping for a mid-August opening!
