As students gear up for the 2nd annual Shoes of Service 5K Fun Run on April 7, 2018, at LOA, we are thrilled to see the result of student-led efforts to make a ...global impact through our WE Service (WE.org) projects to benefit Surgeons of Service. LOA students hosted a shoe drive and fundraisers to raise over $8,000 to cover the cost of shipping containers of shoes to people in need in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Chris Menke and Dr. Allison Menke with Da Vinci Foot And Ankle Lake Oconee shared these wonderful photos of a shoe distribution last month. We are honored to be a part of this amazing mission!
