#truth MLK: War robs society of the funds to uplift the poor and kills the working-class people who fight it.

Boaters and ship captains, please be aware that you share our waters with our critically endangered Georgia State Marine Mammal, the NA Right Whale: Unfortunately, the one-week old right whale calf has an open wound on the top of its head that is consistent with a propeller strike that is most likely fatal. #NorthAtlanticRightWhaleCalf #GeorgiaStateMarineMammal #EndangeredSpecies

Please sign this petition to the City of Savannah to pass a resolution to transition to 100% clean energy by 2030. Currently, 157 local governments across the U.S. including Atlanta, Augusta, Athens-Clarke County, and Clarkston have already adopted ambitious 100% clean energy goals. We want Savannah to be the next city in Georgia to make a commitment for 100% of the energy used community-wide to be generated from clean, non-polluting and renewable sources. https://mailchi.mp/e0e636ae3e13/savannah-clean-energy

We need your support by tomorrow! Please sign this petition and help revitalize the Town of Thunderbolt by "reinventing" its former library for the community. I have been working with the Town of Thunderbolt to transform the former library into a NEW Nature Discovery and Media Center. Tomorrow, I'm presenting to the Thunderbolt Town Council (6:30 PM) to request approval for continued project development. The project is progressing really well, and we had a great turnout ...of supporters at our recent Open House. Currently, we're looking for seed funding and local support. Please let me know if you'd like donor or sponsorship information. The objective of the new center in Thunderbolt is to reconnect children and adults to nature through interactive discovery, while revitalizing the community through increased visitation, collaboration, and exploration. Key features include a dome theater/planetarium, interactive STEAM exhibits, and a media center for the local community. The facility will be renovated in phases, with Phase I being a media center, Phase II as a "Shared Space," Phase III implementing programs, Phase IV Exhibits, and Phase V Sustainable Solutions. Thanks for your support and please share!

Please stop by tomorrow night from 5-7 PM @The Old Library in Thunderbolt, 2708 Mechanics Ave. We need to show support for renovating the Old Library for the community - or else the building will become just another office building or storage facility. #Thunderbolt #Communitybuilding #Library #MediaCenter

From the #DogwoodAlliance: Trees are absolutely crucial to turning our climate Titanic around but, here in the Southeast the wood pellet and industrial forestry industries are clear-cutting our best solutions for short-term profits. This Friday, join us at this event to learn about the problems they're creating but even more, learn about how YOU can be a key part of the SOLUTION. Please consider sharing with your networks!
