THE SUMMER OF 2011. I DECIDED TO BECOME A AUCTIONEER THANKS TO NATHAN CAGLE WHO MAY HAVE BEEN JOKING WHEN HE SAID Hey Len, why don’t you get your auctioneers license? So, after working with him for a couple of years, I did. And after 2 auctions houses, and 980 auctions later, I’m retiring. I just want to express my thanks to all my customers, some still coming to my auctions, and many who moved on. This business there is a rotating door. You make friends one day and they a...re gone the next. Some we lost permanently and will miss them all. Recently my good friend and dealer, Marcus Jester passed. Everyone loved Marcus. I want to get out with time to spend with my wife. I feel I have neglected here for many years. Never a vacation. Always had to be back for the weekends. Well it’s time. This Saturday will be my last auction. I would like to thank everyone who has been to my auction. Your like family. I may know most of you by your number and not the name but your still family. Thank you all for spending your weekends in a old, dirty, sometimes cold, most of the time hot, auction barn we call SWEETWSTER CREEK AUCTION. Hope to see you Saturday at 7pm.
