Swiftwaters Campground and Cabins

I've left a message with Pat about the condition of Swiftwaters Road. If she reports back I will post the update.

DO NOT attempt to drive into Swiftwaters. The road has been washed out.

In case you all didn't get the post, it's been posted the road into Swiftwaters is washed out. Please try to call Pat at number listed on the page for updates. The last time I went about six months ago, it was not raining and I prayed my way up that road, no gravel.

I took my three year old dog to SW Sunday just for the day. We recently had to release my 15 year old Pit Bull, Henry to his "next destination", he spent many weekends at SW. We went to scatter some of his ashes on the property he romped on when he could still romp! It's also good to get away there, just to shut out all the noise. Marcia (admin)

Great weekend at Swiftwaters! the weather was perfect, went to Amicolola Falls and Bull Mountain for some hiking. Always good to see Pat and the crew too! I took a friend for her first time, she loved it too. It's camping season!!

Anybody know of really good hikes near the campground?

It's about to be camping season. This makes Sundance very happy! He loves his girlfriends!
