Speed Thrills on fast and flowy Nitro Nix at Talking Rock Nature Preserve!
What is this tower that has appeared at Talking Rock Nature Preserve? Is it connected to the other mysterious towers appearing around the world? Click and see!
More pavilion building at Talking Rock Nature Preserve with Ken Nix and Tim Kennedy. We are looking for a local roofer to help put up and secure the trusses and install a metal roof. The trusses were previously part of a retailer’s garden center roof. This project’s quality is even better than expected and the cost is lower than budgeted. We honor our volunteers and donors by making the most out of what they provide. https://connect.clickandpledge.com//stpal/Campaign/trnp2020
See message below for opportunity to help out your neighbor while you are at Talking Rock Nature Preserve. Reply here or by message. Hey I was out at Talking Rock today and lost my sunglasses. Tried to find a way to make a quick post to let someone know if they find them to maybe hide them for me somewhere.. brown sunglasses with really worn hand s on the earpiece.. have them forever it would be nice to get them back if possible if not no big deal. Thank you so much. Love it down there
Thursday night rides at Talking Rock preserve starting at 6 pm. Doc Dave’s is our ride leader. Come join us
What people say about TRNP's trails: (they need to add Pickens, Grinning, and Dragon's Tail)
Cement is poured and smoothed for the first pavilion at Talking Rock Nature Preserve. Thanks Ken Nix, Will Tate, and Dee Harlin! Also see the bonus pad for the grill! Next step is to raise raise raise the roof.
The storm did some damage on Pickens trail in one spot. Ride aware.
Back by popular demand (in a day or so)........the porta-john at TRNP! Drop some $ in the donation tube and show your appreciation. It's about $100 per month rental and they do a great job keeping it clean and fresh. TRNP is a free park not owned by a government. Every penny spent comes from donations. ... For the really appreciative of the porta-john and great trails please donate to the pavilion campaign at the link below:

Day 2 of building TRNP’s pavilion #1! Please donate for material costs and we’ll build another. Volunteers do all the work at Talking Rock Nature Preserve.
Day 1 of TRNP Pavilion #1 construction! (I can’t believe I didn’t take an end of day picture!).
If you like mountain biking in north Georgia you should love volunteering with and financially supporting NGMBA.
Pavilion Update! Once the rain stops..... construction will start on the first pavilion at Talking Rock Nature Preserve. Ken Nix is leading the volunteer construction effort. Materials were funded thanks to a $500 donation from the Appalachian Beekeepers Association of Georgia, $1,510 in individual donations, and a $2,010 match from Southeastern Trust for Parks and Land! Please contribute for pavilion number 2! Click on the link>>>>

Pavilions at Talking Rock! Help raise the money to pay for the materials for two 12' x 16' pavilions at Talking Rock Nature Preserve. The budget is $10,000 with $2,500 committed as match from STPAL and $500 already contributed by 5 individual $100 donors in July. We only need $7,000 more. Please consider donating. Please email [email protected] with ideas for business sponsorship opportunities.
Talking Rock Nature Preserve submitted a grant application through a program funded by this act. It includes common area improvements, disc golf course, adventure trail, and a hard surface pump track! Fingers crossed.
