EMMA [13-14] 60M HURDLES, 12.27 60M, 9.51 400M, 1:11.6 (OUTDOOR & INDOOR PR!!!) LONG JUMP, 12'3 CHLOE [13-14] 200M, 33.25 RYAN [15-16] 800M, 5TH, 2:18.02 (OUTDOOR & INDOOR PR!!!) SHOWDOWN AT THE CROSSPLEX 2020!!! Emma opened for Talon with a 12.27, 60m hurdles debut. She and Milly followed it up with the 60m dash. Emma also grabbed a new indoor & outdoor PR in the 400m (1:11.6) and Milly ran a staggering 1:10.30--Her first 400m ever. Emma wrapped her competition with the Long Jump. The final jump of 12'3" marked her best of the meet. Milly continued to the 200m, beating her outdoor PR with a 30.58! Chloe also joined the 200m--Her first official race c...rushed her initial time trial by 6 seconds! Gavin made his debut on the track with a third place time in the 1500m! He finished his 800m race with a 2:44.26. Reese, having been focused on soccer, made a brief detour back to racing and took first place in the 1500m & second in the 800m! Ryan arrived toward the end of the meet for his only race, a 2:18.02 800m which broke his previous outdoor time of 2:20. "I think I had a little more left in me." His words bode well for the outdoor season. William returned to the 1500m & 800m, getting a new 800m indoor PR of 2:09.76! Aidan traded the 1500m for a 400m dash, getting just .7 off his outdoor PR time with 53.86. He won a neck-and-neck race for second in his heat. Aidan also grabbed an 800m indoor PR of 2:04.24, landing second place! Congratulations to these fantastic athletes for another strong showing at the Birmingham Crossplex!
