Unfortunately the Annual Crucifixion Reenactment on Good Friday was cancelled this year due to the lack of volunteers that it takes for the performance production. It takes a cast of over a hundred people plus dozens of behind the scenes production support. We hope that more of the area churches will participate next year to resurrect this presentation. Meanwhile we gathered a small core group of disciples and took the show on the road on Friday with a mini "Passion Street-S...kit". A few of the cast and volunteers was spontaneously assembled. The cast included Tim Hobbs (Jesus), Scott Barwick (Roman Soldier) Lem Price and children and Keelan & Felicia Kirkland and children (Towns People), Phil Facchini (Pharisee) and Jim Spangler (Shepherd). We started the journey on the sidewalks of the stores in the Pinetree Plaza and then moved on to Harvey's on East Jackson. 11th Annual Rose City Passion Play A group of Thomasville believers each year take an active role in spreading God’s word. This is the 11th Annual Rose City Passion Play. It is FREE to the public. The show is written and directed by Jeff Lovett. The play shows the thieves’ prospective of what God did for you and me. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only SON, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal Life. John 3:16 This year, the... program will be March 30, 2018 at the new Amphitheater located at 144 East Jackson Street, Thomasville, GA. Two Performances: 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm Friday March 30th with a RAIN DATE on Saturday March 31st. You are welcome to come out on Tuesday evenings and practice from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Victory Through Christ Ministries located at 2738 East Pinetree Boulevard. (Roses and Fred’s Shopping Center). Sectionals will be assigned so you will not have to be present at every rehearsal. The last week of March everyone will participate in practice. Needed: Actors, towns people, stage set people, publicity, props, makeup, musical talent and help with the wardrobe and costumes.
