FYI - I called the FVUC for clarification about the two month bill suspension and learned that some folks (including me) are confused about that or if the FVUC actually passed it (sure sounded like it to me). I am waiting on a call from Interim GM which will follow an Executive Session in progress. More when I know something.

REGION TITLE! It didn't happen the way we wanted it to, but the Trojans are the Region 2-AAA champions. Crisp County is #2, Central #3, and Upson-Lee #4. Jackson's win over Mary Persons knocked the Bulldogs out of the playoffs, but UL then beat Jackson to snag the 4th spot. Keep your fingers crossed, but as of now, we will play Johnson-Savannah NEXT FRIDAY at home, 8 pm.... TICKETS: Per GHSA rules, General Admission 1st round tickets are $8 and Reserve tickets are $10. Reserve tickets will be on sale at the Field House Monday and Tuesday, 6 pm - 7:30 pm. As usual, reserve ticket holders get first crack at their same seats. See you on the 27th! FIRE IT UP, PC!!!

CENTRAL GAME CANCELLED Due to a positive Covid-19 test for one player on the football team, all varsity PCHS football activities are suspended and the game with Central-Macon is CANCELLED. The Georgia High School Association made a rule this year that games cancelled due to Covid-19 will count as "no contest," not a forfeit. This leaves Peach County 6-0 in region play, and Central and Crisp County 5-1. Crisp beat Central last week.... Per agreement among region 2-AAA teams, the region will vote on 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Update as we get it. As things stand now, PC will play Johnson-Savannah next week, at home. General Admission Tickets will be $8, reserve tickets $10, at the Field House M-Tu 6-7a;30. We are still in the playoffs, so stay with the Trojans. FIRE IT UP, PC!!!
