The Acacia Tree Farm

Pea sheller at the farm! We are shelling peas to bring this afternoon. Can't get any fresher than this! See you at the Downtown Swainsboro Farmers Market at 4.

This happened yesterday one county over from us: someone contaminated their home with insecticide from a farm. Insecticide that was used on plants. That we eat. A woman lost her life. THIS is why we farm organically.

That list is spot on, but we meticulously clean everything. Side note: there is no Swainsboro Market today due to the Relay for Life. See you next week!

Woohoo! Watermelon are growing fast! Also, we have eggplant: hansels, gretels, and blacks. Green peppers and squash are ripe for the picking, as is cauliflower. The next batch of peas is coming in nicely, as are the tomatoes, onions and garlic. Plus we have hanging baskets with phlox and more!
