Human Trafficking 101 November 17th , 2020 2-4pm There are more than 40 million people trapped in human trafficking- or modern-day slavery- around the world. Human trafficking is defined as the exploitation of a person through force, fraud or coercion for labor or commercial sex. Human trafficking is not legal anywhere but happens everywhere in every country around the world and every state across America.... It’s likely happening in your community right now, in a local nail salon or favorite restaurant; in a suburban home or nearby hotel; on a city street or rural farm. In the United States, U.S. citizens are trafficked at similar rates to foreign nationals. Please join us for an interactive training on November 17th.
