Jamie Butler's November newsletter message: Luminaires, I want to dedicate some time to look at the judgment we place on others, ourselves, and the world around us. As we are closing up the year 2020, we are going to be faced with too many opportunities to place judgment. These perceptions can be about self as you are evolving or about others. This will even bring up the dreaded language of good and bad. Sometimes it is hard to think of how everything can be ‘good’ when there... is so much out there that can create such disturbance within us. That inner disturbance is the sign that whatever it is causing the disruption is not working for you. Remember, if it is not working for you, it might still be working for someone else. Let’s step back and talk about how energy is neither good nor bad. Any reaction or labeling you have is solely based on your interaction with it, which will reflect as a judgment. Once you can connect to this concept, hearing about the ‘unfathomable’ such as violence, threat, harm, abuse, etc will be a bit easier. And, I want to state, that just because you can hear, listen, and be with the ‘unfathomable’ does not mean you accept, promote, or even approve it. It means you are clear, present, and you know who you are, where your boundaries are located and have an awareness of your energy! When you are conscious, you do not need to worry about how others respond. You are not in control over how someone hears you or responds to you and you never will be. The worry is how you are going to respond because this is your only source of control. It is about how you are absorbing the other person’s energy from the conversation. You are not what others say about you. If you are being easily triggered listening to any ‘unfathomable’, then it is time to check in to your own needs. It might be a time for emergency empathy. This means to announce you will be taking some silence. You can slow your speech and take more breaks to breathe deep. These gestures can help shift the feeling in the room, on the phone, and even in person. Check-in with yourself. How do I feel? What do I need? If you cannot find the need unmet, ask yourself what needs are being met. Sometimes through going through what is met you can find what you are missing. What can I request to secure my needs? We are stepping into a time where we need to be conscious of our actions. These actions include listening, speaking, reacting, silence, and taking action. As the last two months of 2020 come to a close, spirit says we will connect with our true essence, begin to clearly see how we must come together as a whole, and move forward together.
