Hello Senior Parents! We know this school year is bringing its set of challenges. But Jostens has a solution to help keep things rolling along for your child’s special year! Because photos of your student will be more difficult to obtain this year with remote-learning & abbreviated sports & extracurricular seasons, Jostens is providing an online upload service to give you an easy, click and done solution for submitting your child’s photos that will appear in their yearbook. ... Be creative! Send us images of their days at home during remote-learning or what they did during summer quarantines. We want to see what their life has looked like through this whole unique year in their lives! Follow these simple steps: Choose the photo/s you’d like to submit for consideration in the yearbook. Click on this link - https://images.jostens.com/415466813 Upload your photo. Fill in your child’s name and enter important information in the description. THAT’S IT! You are all done. If I have any questions, I will reach out to you by email. Let me know if you have any questions as well. Thank you, A. McCabe CoHiScAn Yearbook Adviser [email protected]

The following is a message sent on behalf of the CHS PTSA: Seniors! We are so excited to celebrate you TONIGHT at 6pm! Sometimes the best times are those that are unexpected! Parents, friends, and underclassmen: you may park around Lakebottom (make signs) to wave and celebrate the seniors as they leave. The only people allowed on CHS campus are senior students, administrators, faculty, staff, and police officers.... Seniors: Arrive in the senior parking with your decorated vehicle by 6pm in your cap and gown. Students CANNOT get out of vehicles at any time. DO NOT sit in the beds of trucks. Jeeps, convertibles, sunroofs, and waving from windows are acceptable. You may ride with friends as long as you meet up before coming onto campus. CHS Parade Path: Once seniors have assembled in the senior parking lot (by 6pm), a lead car/truck will help them process through the parade route. Seniors will navigate through the campus like they did for cap and gown pick up following the lead car/truck. After driving through CHS one last time, seniors will exit right onto Cherokee Ave, then turn left at the first red light (near Parker's Pantry), and circle one block of Lakebottom and leave by turning left onto 17th (in between Peach Little League fields and the track.) Drivers/students should follow this path marked off by police and the parade lead car/truck. All students, drivers, and passengers should observe all COVID-19 restrictions and Georgia transportation guidelines while participating in the parade. GRADUATION PARADE REMINDERS: 1. STAY IN YOUR CAR: Be in your CHS assigned parking spot by 6pm- we will dismiss you from the parking lot to start the parade. 2. Wear your cap and gown. 3. Decorate your car. 4. STAY IN YOUR CAR ONCE ON CAMPUS adhere to social distancing and CDC guidelines. 5. Each senior can have one car. You can only have as many passengers in your car as seat belts. 6. Bring a card with your name and your future plans (college, career, etc). 7. Parents can park at Lakebottom and watch you exit CHS for the last time. 8. We will have Margaret Ward there taking pictures and John Pyle flying his drone. We look forward to a memorable evening. For those unable to attend, please feel free to join us on Facebook live for the event. Sincerely, Nickie Tillery and the PTSA Board

Dear Seniors, PTSA would like to say CONGRATULATIONS CLASS of 2020!! We are so proud of you and all that you have accomplished. I know that this was not the senior year you pictured and we are so very sorry. Graduation was supposed to happen this Friday, then it was going to be virtual, and now it will be on TV and live in July. This is a lot of change on top of a stressful situation, we hear your pain. This quote reminds me of you, "Hard times do not create heroes, it...s during the hard times the 'hero' within us is revealed. Personally, I thought this would all be over and we would be back to normal by now. My wish was for you to have a typical graduation, but that is not the case. Your senior year will be in the history books forever and we will always look back and remember you. You have not been forgotten, we think of you often and wish we could take back what COVID took from you....but for a moment we want to stop focusing on what it took from you and relish in all you have done!!! You did it and DESERVE THE BEST! We also feel that you need closure. You have spent the last four years at CHS, and left without a good bye. So, if you would like to come, PTSA would like to have a parade this Friday, May 22 at 6pm to celebrate you. This is last minute, but sometimes those are the best memories. This will be your final drive through as a CHS student and a chance to see those people who made high school memorable. GRADUATION PARADE 1. STAY IN YOUR CAR: Be in your CHS assigned parking spot by 6pm- we will dismiss you from the parking lot to start the parade. 2. Wear your cap and gown 3. Decorate your car 4. Again, we love you and hope you do not let the last three months tarnish four years of memories. If you do not want to come, please do not feel pressured to come. We still celebrate you!! Sincerely, Nickie Tillery and the entire PTSA Board
