Thank you for looking at my page! Facebook is an interesting place. I’m now in so many different groups. Covid groups, political groups, education groups... you know! If you’re seeing this it could be because you saw something I commented on and decided to check me out. As of May 7th, my lease was up. Obviously COVID-19 was a factor in my not renewing my lease. I’m one of the people in the very fortunate circumstance to be able take this time to focus on family. ... My husband is working from home indefinitely. My senior (immune- compromised) parents live with us. For the health and sanity of my family I’m now home keeping my energy focused on entertaining and educating our six year old. I miss working. I miss the conversations. I miss making people happy. I miss the reward of meeting new clients and making them feel safe in the knowledge that I get what they’re asking for and be able to follow through. I miss my peeps who know and me them. My loyal customers who truly are friends. I’ve colored hair since 1996. Twice, I took 3 months off. The first time I was 27 years old and took a leave of absence from work to travel. The second, to enjoy every moment of maternity leave. Now, it’s been 4 months! This time is different. We’re all in this together in some way or another. The pandemic may keep me from doing what I love, but I’ll be back! To my clients that know me: thank you for supporting me, I’m here in any way I can help. To those just checking me out. Hi! I still love to talk. Send me a message. I’d love to hear from all of you. PS- even I’ve got quarantine hair! PPS- I never smile in selfies- it feels weird. I promise I smile!

Now that Georgia has its first confirmed cases of Coronavirus, its time to take some common sense steps for public health safety. A couple of weeks ago, when the first cases started being reported, I developed a contingency plan for how to handle this situation. You may not know this, but as a licensed professional who comes into contact with with a large number of the public, I have a legal responsibility mandated by the Georgia Board of Cosmetology to follow all guidelines ...set by our state health agencies and government. Luckily, we are in the early stages, so we are only being told to be overly cautious at this point. To that end, here is the plan at this point: 1. The highest priority right now is to avoid contact with anyone showing symptoms of illness. If you, or anyone in your household, is showing any sign of illness (like a fever, coughing, sneezing, runny nose, etc), please call to reschedule your appointment, no matter how close to your appointment time you discover symptoms. Please do not come into the salon if you are showing symptoms of illness. I will be strictly following the states advice, and end the visit immediately if you have any symptoms of illness. I know this is a bad time of year for this to happen, as spring allergies have already begun, but it is virtually impossible to tell the difference between sniffles and coughs caused by allergies, and symptoms of something more serious. It's recommended that if you are experiencing any symptoms, you call your doctor first, to see if you should then go somewhere to be checked out. The CDC is concerned with potentially exposed patients exposing others in common waiting rooms, and doctors will work to get you treated without exposing everyone else. 2. We should always be practicing good hygiene, so please use the restroom to wash your hands thoroughly for 30 seconds when you arrive at the salon. Please use paper towels to open the door on the way out. I also have hand sanitizers on stations for everyone's use. Please feel free to use it as often as you feel necessary. 3. I commit to spraying disinfectant on all commonly touched surfaces between each client. The door to the salon will stay open during all visits to circulate more air. Tissues are available on the station. There is no reason to panic, but we are all being instructed to take this situation very seriously in order to help minimize everyones risk. Please, lets all work together to stay healthy and safe. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation... Alyson Molina
