Dear Clients: IMPORTANT INFORMATION: PLEASE READ. As most of you know, The Color Studio re-opened a few weeks ago after a state mandated closure due to COVID-19. While proper precautions (extra cleaning/sanitizing, excessive hand washing, use of masks, social distancing, etc), were taken, somehow it was still not enough. Sadly, Tonya, owner and stylist at The Color Studio, tested positive for COVID-19 today. We will be closed until further notice. ... If you have an appointment scheduled with Tonya within the next few weeks she will be reaching out to you to reschedule you. Please stay well- this virus is real y’all! XoXo The Color Studio

THE MOMENT WE’VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR... The Color Studio is aiming to reopen Tuesday May 12th! We will still keep the following guidelines in place: Masks are MANDATORY for every client. Temperature checks at the door- anyone with a temp of 99.9 or higher will be asked to reschedule.... Only ONE client allowed in the salon at once (please refrain from bringing children, friends, or any guests to your appointment.) Please DO NOT show up for your appointment if you or someone you have been around have been exposed to COVID19- even if you’re symptom free. If you have any symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath), you will be asked to reschedule your appointment. Please wait in your car & text when you arrive. Tonya will respond when it’s safe for you to come inside (she needs an adequate amount of time in between clients to deeply sanitize and get ready for the next). Thank you ALL for your patience and understanding during this time of uncertainty! We can’t wait for our doors to reopen and see all of you Please bare with us as we try to adjust to this new normal. As stated earlier, priority will be given to those of you who had appointments cancelled due to this closure and Tonya will be reaching out to you soon to get you rescheduled. If you did not have an appointment cancelled but still need an appointment, please text Tonya at (229) 412-3249 & she will get back to you as soon as she can with her availability. The Color Studio is by appointment only (no walk-ins), and is open Tuesday-Friday only. SEE YOU ALL SOON!!! XoXo

CLIENTS: I have made the difficult decision not to re-open The Color Studio for a few more weeks regardless of Governor Kemp’s decision to allow salons to re-open this week. I will reassess the COVID-19 situation as information is made available & will update as I can. As of right now, I do not have adequate cleaning supplies or personal protective equipment (gloves, masks for myself AND all clients, disposable/extra smocks & capes, etc.) needed to keep my clients & myself sa...fe. The Georgia State Board of Cosmetology has set some very strict rules & guidelines to be able to re-open, and at this time I know I cannot properly follow the guidelines due to lack of supplies available. Thank you all for being so patient & understanding throughout this time of uncertainty. Once we do re-open, priority will be given to clients whose appointments had to be cancelled due to the virus. If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out!

CLIENTS: Governor Kemp says restaurants, gyms, hair salons and other businesses may begin to reopen... I know all of you are anxious about The Color Studio re-opening, but I have made the personal decision to stay closed until I can get the cleaning supplies needed to keep everyone safe. Whenever I re open every client will be required to use hand sanitizer upon entry and a face mask will be required and must be worn for your entire visit. The virus has not gone away. My fami...ly’s health, my client’s health & safety are my top priority right now... cleaning supplies are lacking EVERYWHERE making it impossible to keep a well sanitized salon right now. I have to put my family first. I will announce a re-opening date at a later time (as soon as I get the cleaning supplies needed to keep everyone safe.) Hopefully this will be by the beginning of next week. If you have any symptoms, or have been around anyone who has been exposed to covid-19 PLEASE DO NOT ATEMPT TO ATTEND AN APPOINTMENT. We will reschedule as needed. I have a list of people that I had to reschedule due to the start of covid-19, so if you would like to be added to my schedule comment below. Please be patient as I am attempting to get everyone scheduled while maintaining the safety of my clients! PLEASE DO NOT BRING CHILDREN OR GUEST TO YOUR APPOINTMENT UNLESS THEY ARE ALSO HAVING SERVICES. This was not an easy decision by any means.
