While it can be difficult to navigate the job market sometimes due to employers having this thought process that people who leave jobs after 1 year or less are not worthy of an opportunity with them is misguided. EQ is important and if a person is self-aware enough to realize a company is not a fit for them and... they need to make a change, then as an employer I would be interested in speaking with that person, because at the end of the day....change is good and needed & I want people who are open to change on my team! However, if you are making a job change every 3-6 months and have had 4+ jobs in a year....then a question of your IQ starts to be raised and I think it is perfectly acceptable for employers to question the frequency of job changes & your ability to investigate, ask the right questions and perform proper due diligence.
