We know this is a busy week. You have shopping to finish and a special day to plan. Let us do the cooking for you. We have pick-up dinner hours this week Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. As a special bonus, we are offering take and bake cinnamon rolls and fresh mimosa kits for Christmas morning! Pick up your cinnamon rolls on the 24th from 11am to 1pm, and simply pop them in the oven on Christmas morning. Follow the link in bio to preorder online.

Eggnog Alert! Years ago we had the pleasure of making eggnog for a holiday article in @bittersoutherner .We’ve made our version of this recipe every year since..., and 2020 is no exception. Tonight! @jerryslater is making a batch of this very spirited nog and serving it on our heated porch from 5-8pm. Tomorrow is our next step, and we don’t take this step lightly. Our dining room opens Tuesday, September 29th. Online reservations are available now via Resy. Safety will remain our top priority. Here is what you can expect during your visit:... 1. Face masks are required when not seated at your table. Our team will be wearing masks at all times for your safety, please be considerate of their safety when they approach your table/bar seat. Masks will be provided at no cost if needed. 2. Our dining room is reconfigured to meet social distancing guidelines. All tables are 6-ft apart. Tables will not be adjusted beyond their existing capacity. 3. We have opened the windows on our 100-year old building, and screens are added to allow for improved air flow within the dining space. 4. Our bar seating is also reconfigured to meet social distancing guidelines, and therefore only guests seated in bar stools will be provided service from the bartender. Bar stools can not be rearranged from their position. Reservations for the bar are available and highly recommended. 5.All visits will be held to the 2-hour reservation limit. 6.Expanded patio dining will remain and online reservations for patio are now available.

Like much in 2020, the Kentucky Derby was rescheduled from its normal running in early May to tonight!(Saying Happy Derby in September feels weird)We can't be in Kentucky, but we can absolutely make outstanding Mint Juleps in commemorative cups (while they last!) for you to enjoy on the patio starting at 5pm.

It’s Wednesday, we’ve got the best burger (too bold?) in town on special, and we’ve got lots of burger wine* in the house. Enjoy a bottle on the patio or snag one to-go for your burger picnic. Order online or enjoy on the patio! *Burger Wine, as defined by @larkthegirl : a lighter, juicy red that you can put a bit of a chill on, that can handle the beef, cheese, pickles and aioli complexity of a burger, and won’t leave you as full as burgers with beer will. #themoreyouknow

Trying to follow this weather forecast for patio dining is...stressful; but we find our ways to cope. As of right now it looks like we’ll be in the clear by the time open , but we are doing dinner takeout (including wine!) until 8pm regardless. While predicting the weather has been slightly challenging for #athensalfresco dining this week, at least there is pasta. Fresh fettuccine, roasted @bartram_trail_farm tomatoes, caper butter, olives, herbs and shrimp. On special for the weekend while it lasts. We’re doing takeout til 8pm and patio dining as long as the weather behaves ( so far so good for tonight!)
