For our Economics block, Hirsch students recently studied the law of demand and the law of supply. And we studied this with a PURPOSE....a hot chocolate stand where ALL proceeds went to our Autistic Black Students MATTER scholarship fund. Check this out! The students made the menu, prepared the items and delivered the goods to our families and even wrote this message to our families and YOU..... NOW IS THE TIME TO MAKE VOICES MUCH LIKE MINE HEARD. YOU SEE, I AM AUTISTIC AND C...HEERING PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF AND MAKING OUR VOICES VALUED IS PARAMOUNT, AND TO MAKE THAT CLEAR IS IMPORTANT TO ME. PEOPLE OF COLOR REMIND US THAT THERE IS MUCH LEFT TO BE DONE AND OUR BLACK STUDENTS NEED US NOW, TO KNOW THAT WE BADLY CARE ABOUT OUR STUDENTS THAT BELONG TO THE BLACK INJUSTICE. I NEED YOUR HELP IN SUPPORTING A GREAT GROUP OF PEOPLE AND MY FRIENDS.
