The CDC reports that of people aged 65+ with Alzheimer’s disease, African Americans and Hispanics have the highest prevalence. A new study in Texas aims to examine the why behind the prevalence of the said groups. This research will be incredibly important in uncovering what more can be done for these groups in the future. A person's spiritual needs do not stop when dementia is present. Our wonderful volunteer leads a deep and enriching bible study every week. Its popularity has grown so much that we have to host the activity in our large Fox theater. At The Memory Center Atlanta we help our residents live well with dementia.
