Please join us tomorrow Saturday, December 5th for our Annual Christmas on Main event The MILL amphitheater! Please see attached poster for the days festivities... as well as routes for 5k and Christmas parade ! CVS Villa Rica will be on-site during the Mistletoe Market from 2 pm - 5 pm to administer flu shots. You can register day of for one-mile Egg Nog jog and Reindeer 5k! Day of fees $30 for one-mile and $35 for 5k. Pre-registration begins at 10:30 am in front of the Welcome Center and Main Street office (106 Temple St). Thank you to our 2020 sponsors J. New banners in downtown Villa Rica!! Recently our Regional Visitor Information Center Visit Villa Rica was the recipient of the Regional Visitor Information Gra...nt via the Explore Georgia, the state tourism office within the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD)! We were awarded a matching grant of $2,000 for financial assistance for visitor marketing. With the grant money our office was able to purchase new Dine, Play and Shop banners (featured below) as well as new Gold Rush Festival banners. The new banners look great next to our recently installed new LED light fixtures! Thank you to the City of Villa Rica ground maintenance crew for getting these beautiful banners up today! This is in line National and State Government protocol to keep any public/private event to 10 people and under. This decision was not taken lightly as the current environment is ever changing in our state and in the country. May you and your families stay safe!
