Yesterday, our residents enjoyed an afternoon mixer playing the match game, sipping tea, and snacking on sweet treats. The Phoenix at Milton would like to thank Vonda from Inspire for the bath salts, Dennis from Golden Rule for the sweet chocolates, Cindy from Passionate Care for the cookies, and Krissy from Michael J. Leach dentistry for the Hershey kisses. Thank you Danielle from Birmingham United Methodist Church for the Valentine’s cards. The messages put a bright smile on their faces!

Every day we can feel the love in the air at The Phoenix at Milton. There was extra love in the air as the residents enjoyed cupcakes and Cupid floats to kick off our Valentine’s celebration!

We don’t need many reasons to party at The Phoenix at Milton, but the Super Bowl is the perfect time to socialize and watch an American favorite pastime!!!

Our theme Friday was "Pop In and Get Vaccinated to Keep the Ones You Love Safe!!! Our residents and Phoenix associates were excited to receive their vaccine and enjoy some popcorn!

Many prosts! was had by all this week at Oktoberfest. Our community participated in everything from a pretzel eating contest to a Beers Around the World tasting contest. Both contests ended with prizes for so many residents! We followed all this fun with beautiful Sounds of Europe with Jerry Gilmore. We are beyond grateful for our event sponsors, like Inspire Hospice and Palliative Care, Right at Home, Guardian Home Health, Capstone Hospice, Trinity Hospice Care of Georgia, and Aegis Therapies. Thank you for making this celebration so special!

The best musical entertainment always comes from our residents! Thank you John for the beautiful jazz music! We had a blast!

We are loving our new story of the month, "Where the Crawdads Sing". We cannot get enough of this beautiful story!

National Pumpkin Pie Day was a success! Nothing like pie and something so sweet!

Morning Sit and Strength Exercise is always fun when led by Von, our recent acting Wellness Director. Elizabeth, our new Wellness Director is a great new addition, and we were happy to have Von until she could join us. Good luck at The Bluffs at Greystone, Von!

Last week, we finished discussing The Lady in Gold. This story had it ALL and was such a great pick for our September Book Lover’s Club! We can’t wait to watch the movie and for our next read!
