It’s happening!!

Tuesdays @ 8pm this spring quarter Tim will be teaching bible study skills via Facebook and Instagram live. . We will have small 3-4 people bible study groups for prayer, accountability, and encouragement! Sign up via the link in our profile. . We are praying for you and looking forward to growing in Christ together even while apart.

Questions from tonight’s study: 1. How has your exposure to different churches (or lack thereof) shaped the way you view Bible study? 2. How aware are you of your own need for greater Bible literacy? What events or experiences have raised your awareness of your need to know the Bible better?... 3. How equipped do you feel to study the Bible your own? What tools do you currently use when you study? 4. What has been the greatest obstacle to your study efforts in the past? In your current life stage? What do you think would be an obstacle in the future? 5. How prone are you to measuring the strength of your faith by the strength of your feelings? What is the danger of measuring your faith in this way? 6. The heart cannot love what the mind does not know. Why is it spiritually dangerous to claim to love God without making an effort to know him through his revealed Word? 7. Is there a connection between the two backward approaches to Bible study (self before God, heart before mind)?
