Kudos to the city for getting Dexter Coley’s flag and cross together in time for this round of the Festival of the Flags. We sure do miss you, buddy!

A few more photos of our buddy, Dexter. We’re all sad, but there are also so many smiles being had today remembering him. He was one of a kind!

Our hearts are broken after learning that our friend and family member Dexter Coley passed away this morning. There aren't words to describe how much he means to the playhouse, the city, and everyone who has ever met him. Dexter is irreplaceable and we are all better people for having known him. All the love and prayers we can muster to Dex's family. We love you, friend! Thank you for every laugh, every hug, and every smile you every gave us!

Congrats to our guy Christopher Cooper for this great step in his Air Force journey. Christopher was amazing in our production of Almost Maine a couple of years ago. A great talent and an ever better person. Thank you for your service!

We are saddened to announce that 2020 Ringgold Haunted Depot has been cancelled. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there is no way to keep socially distanced at ou...r attractions and we do not wish to put our staff, our guests, or our gracious volunteers at risk. This was not an easy decision and we are just as upset about it as everyone else. We hope to have a bigger and better event for the 2021 season and see you all there! See more

After a lot of discussion with our board, city officials, and our volunteers, TRP has decided to officially cancel the remainder of our 2020 Season due to COVID-19. Initially, we pushed our spring and summer shows back with the hope of presenting them later this year, but we're at a point now where we still don't feel comfortable putting our volunteers and audience members at risk by gathering large groups of folks at the Depot. Season ticket holders for 2020 can contact Cit...y Hall beginning in December and exchange their 2020 season passes for 2021 season passes. We are carrying over the shows that have been postponed this year to our 2021 Season, and will announce those new dates later this fall. To every audience member, city employee, and volunteer who has helped our theatre company thrive over the past 7 years, we sincerely thank you. We hope to open back up again as soon as it's feasible and safe for all involved. #FollowMeToTRP #WeAreRinggold

Due to the status of the COVID-19 pandemic, TRP has decided to postpone our production of The Shawshank Redemption that was slated to open April 30. We have rescheduled the production for the end of our season. The new production dates are Sept. 24-27. We hope everyone is staying safe out there, and we can't wait to entertain the community again as soon as it's safe to do so. #BeSafe

We really miss seeing our production posters in the windows of local shops and restaurants. Just because things are crazy and different right now doesn’t mean we appreciate our community any less. When things are safe again, we can’t wait to go visit all the friends that constantly support us! #FollowMeToTRP

Since we’re all in a holding pattern these days, how about a little #TBT to our very first production? William Inge’s Bus Stop opened in 2013. We didn’t have stage lights, a curtain, a sound booth, or anything really just some passionate people who wanted to create a new artistic space. We’ve come a long way thanks to the support of our community. We love you, Ringgold! #FollowMeTRP

Even though our planned Comedy Club has been postponed, we’re still working toward bringing you The Shawshank Redemption April 30 May 3. We had a heart-to-heart with our cast last week, and they unanimously agreed to continue to meet when able for closed rehearsals with the hope that we can still perform the show as planned. The Shawshank story is about hope so that’s what we’re doing we hope we get to bring it to the stage. #Shawshank #Hope #ArtMatters
