Reflecting on the past year in real estate, 2020 was not at all what anyone could have expected. When the shutdowns first hit in mid March the outlook for the real estate market was bleak. All showings on my listings were cancelled and I had endless conversations with clients on what to do in a shut-down market. But once we moved into early April, people decided house shopping in masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer felt safe and things exploded from there. Many people began to ...re-evaluate their home's functionality and items like home offices, space for digital learning, and a large outdoor yard became motivation for making a move in 2020. As a result, my business has doubled this past year! I want to send a big thank you to all those who entrusted me with the buying or selling of their home and to all of you who referred me to friends and family who were considering making a move. Showing homes and working with my clients (who become friends) has been such a joy and welcome reprieve from the pandemic reality. Looking forward to this year, I am grateful that I can continue assisting people in finding their forever home and I look forward to the new opportunities 2021 will bring.
