The Peach Buzz is a Podcast dedicated to showcasing the people who are making positive impacts in the communities of North Georgia! In light of the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus, The Chief Justice of the Georgia Supreme Court has declared a State of Judicial Emergency throughout Georgia. This means that our courts are closed with very few exceptions. The attorneys and staff at Tidwell Strimban Injury Lawyers, however, remain dedicated to advocating for our clients. As such, we have created mobile work stations for each of our employees, allowing them to work from home during this time of "social d...istancing" as seamlessly as if they were all still in the same building. Tidwell Strimban Injury Lawyers are proud to report that Firm Partner Robert Tidwell has been selected by the City of Woodstock to serve as the City’s Chief Judge. Mr. Tidwell will preside over Woodstock’s Municipal Court, hearing cases involving allegations of misdemeanor criminal offenses, traffic citations, and ordinance violations. Since court is held only on Mondays, Mr. Tidwell’s service on the bench will not interfere with his law practice at all. Tidwell Strimban Injury Lawyers partner Aaron Strimban just wrapped up a jury trial in Cobb County State Court today. The insurance company’s top offer was merely $7,500.00. Before trial, the adjuster claimed our client could not have been hurt when there was only $2,800.00 worth of damage don...e to the bumper of his car, especially since he told the responding police officer that he wasn’t hurt. However, like so often is the case, our client’s painful symptoms did not begin until the following morning. The adjuster refused to believe our client when he said that he was hurt. The jury felt differently and awarded our client $90,000.00. Mr. Strimban delivered a most compelling closing argument that made it easy for the jury to make sure our client was treated fairly.
