Dad was ventilated this afternoon around 2:00 pm. As of the last update with the ICU nurse, he is tolerating the ventilator and his vital signs are stable. He w...ill start on the experimental treatment Remdesivir in the morning and has been blood matched to begin the Convalescent plasma treatment as soon as his type is available (possibly up to 2 days). The first is an antiviral drug and the 2nd is where the patient is given plasma with antibodies from someone who has overcome corona. Neither of these are proven to work but both of these give us hope. Please continue to pray specifically that dad’s body will fight this infection. Pray for his doctors and nurses as they continue to plan and administer the course of treatment. Pray for the family for strength.
