2020 has been the craziest year of my life. We have a president elect that won the presidential nomination by default due to everyone dropping out and leaving him as being the only one running. He hid in his basement and never really gave the country any real idea of what his direction for our country was except that he wanted to undo everything President Trump did and wear a mask. Trump was very combative most of the time but he did what he promised. Biden, as far as I can t...ell, really did very little in his 47 years in the Senate and 8 as VP. Biden appears to not know where he is most of the time and giggles Harris thinks everything is funny. Looks like to me that we are in for the worst four coming years that anyone can imagine. You can’t keep spending more than you make and have no rules for anyone to follow. That is never going to work. Now you will not have Trump to blame. More taxes, less jobs and defunding police. Doesn’t seem to be great ideas to me!

If Pfizer’s vaccine is effective, does that mean Biden can’t hide anymore? Does that mean he can’t wreck our economy? Does that mean he can’t make us A country like Russia or like his family’s employer China?

I have recently seen new information on the death of George Floyd and it has changed my opinion of the events. I would first like to say that it takes an idiot to place your knee on anyone’s neck. With that being said, if the reports are true, Mr. Floyd was reported to have a lethal amount of fentanyl in his system. I also saw a video that appeared to be him resisting arrest and saying he could not breath. Given a fair trial, his death could be attributed to something other than a knee. Seems that Mr. Floyd was a major contributor to his own death. Don’ t judge until all the evidence is heard by fair minded people. Everyone deserves that.

The rioting in Atlanta is being handled far better by Atlanta than most all the other cities. It would be even better if the protesters would get just as mad when someone killed an innocent cop! We should not hold a bad act by one person against everyone. Remember, what goes around comes aroun

My great grandfather was killed many years ago when, during a severe thunderstorm, he and two others were struck by lighting while under an oak tree. After my mother and grand mother told me that story I have made it a point not to be under a tree when there is a storm with thunder and lighting. I do not believe in tempting fate. On the other hand, I am not a fool. You can't hide from a virus. Take precautions and stay in touch with friends and family for your safety and the...irs. You do not have to have a years supply of toilet paper to get you through this. Keep enough food on hand for a week or two and have your family physician's number handy if you have one. If you don't, contact your local health department for advice and in the most severe case call 911 in the event that you need help. Don't make yourself sick from worrying about death! I saw an expose by 11 Alive News yesterday about Cherokee County Judge Michelle Homier. I have known her for several years and have always known her to be firm but fair. She, like all the other Judges in Cherokee County, handle many hundreds of cases each year and most decisions are usually reached by input from many sources. It appears that part of the decision came from the victim in case number 18DV 0259 in the form of an affidavit saying that she opposed the sentence an...d did not feel threatened by her husband and that she had tried to convey that to the prosecutor and could not get a return phone call. He was not sentenced to the family violence intervention program (FVIP) but she did order an evaluation for anger control and any treatment recommended within 10 days days of the evaluation. She also ordered no contact with his wife. It appears that he was back in jail on 12/5/18 for violating Judge Homier’s order. The sentence was entered on Nov. 7th, 2018 and the balance of the sentenced was revoked on February 4th, 2019. Even if he had been sentenced to FVIP he would not have had time to complete it. I will also say that if you think that FVIP would have stopped this you are a dumb ass and do not live in the real world!

After 30 years of legal practice and watching many hours of the senate hearings on Judge Kavanaugh and testimony from Christine Blasey Ford, I believe I know who assaulted her! IT WAS THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY AND THE RUSSIANS!

The Democratic Party has become what they all say they hate. Their politics are To divide and destroy and not to discuss and solve. They look for talking points and not for solutions because they think that will give them power. Look around the world and discover the countries that have governments like Democrats purpose. Most if not all are not places you want to be. We have three branches of government. (Legislative, Judicial and Executive) It was designed for gridlock. Th...at is because out of gridlock normally comes compromise. That is no longer possible because obstruction and blame and no discussion does not get anything done. We do not owe the world a living. We owe citizens of our country safety, security, and the opportunity to earn a decent living. If we don't sit down together and start trying to discuss and solve our problems we will become what the current Democratic Party purposes; the government takes care of you from birth to death. To me that sounds a lot like China, Russia, Cuba, North Korea and other socialistic countries and if you decide to go to any of those places, just go and walk across their boarders without their permission and if you see something you do not like protest. (Including Mexico) If you survive being shot and placed in one of their prisons then you deserve to be there.

Congratulations to Tony Baker, Cherokee County's newest Superior Court Judge. I will say that normally it would be almost impossible to follow a good Judge and person like Jackson Harris but Judge Baker will be up to the task. He will be firm but fair to all that appear before him.

People that are far Right and far Left should shut their Mouths and open their minds!
